Your family holiday in the Hotel Sand will be an experience of the special kind. Due to the family atmosphere in the hotel and the friendliness of the staff families feel at home with us. In our playground and the various activietes in the surrounding your children can have a world of fun.
The Venosta Valley and the region Meraner Land offers plenty of attractions for families: rafting, pony rides, via ferrata or high ropes courses, fishing, small petting zoos, llama trekking, archery, hiking, cycling, mini-golf, the Ötzi Museum, Archeoparc, a summer toboggan run, and much more.
The hotel features a children’s play area with table tennis, a swing, a slide and a trampoline. For swimming fun, we have a 25-metre sports pool (heated all year round to approx. 28–30 degrees), a saltwater pool (approx. 23-26 degrees) and an indoor pool (approx. 30–32 degrees). The bike school offers a weekly kids’ afternoon at the technical training ground for children and teenagers. In addition, the local tourist office organises a varied children’s programme during the school holidays.
